The Human Resources Operations Associate is responsible for completing various Human Resources processes and administrative activities. In addition, there will be ad-hoc projects and conducting research to resolve issues and understand opportunities for improvement,

as well as, implementing the improvements.

Essential Functions:

Complete daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly Administrative and Process Activities which may include the following

  • General Administration – Work activities including filing, reception desk, special administrative projects, onboarding, data entry, spreadsheet input and creation, etc.

  • Team Support – Support on benefits, compensation, talent acquisition and talent management administrative activities, such as: Training events, scheduling, orientation, service awards, employee events, etc.

  • Customer Service – Respond to employee inquiries through inbox, phone and email; handle verifications of employment and documentation inquiries; perform I9 review as needed, etc. Assist with employee issues and determine root cause to develop improvedprocess

  • Postings and Reporting - Maintain updated legal posting listing to ensure compliance at all locations, coordinate with Employee Relations to ensure legal postings are verified during clinic visits and coordinator posting in conjunction with Posting Committee.Responsible for annual EEO-1 Reporting

  • Assist with Job Descriptions - Work with content owners to develop effective job descriptions, as well as, Edit and update job descriptions

  • Participate in testing – HRIS development, new processes, process documentation

  • Audit daily data entry for the HR/Payroll Management System (Ultipro) to ensure accuracy and compliance; back up data entry as needed

  • Responsible to:

  • Support Satellite Healthcare culture through values and customer service standards

  • Maintain outstanding customer service to all external and internal customers

  • Develop and maintain effective relationships through effective and timely communication

  • Takes initiative and action to respond, resolve and follow up regarding customer service issues with all customers in a timely manner

  • Other duties as assigned


Minimum Qualifications

Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying.

Education: High School diploma, GED or equivalent required, AA/BA/BS preferred

Experience : Three (3) years of Human Resources experience, including one or more areas: HR Operations, Employment Administration, Customer Services, Onboarding & Talent Acquisition, or HRIS

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Understanding of FMLA, ADA and CFRA

  • Understanding of Workers’ Compensation preferred

  • Demonstrated abilities in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and an e-learning tool such as Articulate

  • Strong analytic, communication (written and verbal) and problem solving skills

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently

  • Ability to perform multiple tasks

  • Knowledge of health care industry preferred
